Stone on the North Side
of Headington Hill,
20 yards to the East of
the bridge

Stone, set into the wall during road improvements in 1930. It may have
been moved then, and in 1771 when the road was re-aligned.
'Here endeth
W.K. & I.F.'
Headington Hill was paved - 1725. (VCH V page 259).
