RCHM 287. Farmhouse. C17 in origin but much altered. In a
rectangular plan at right angles to the road and facing West.
2-storeyed roughcast rubble with 2 large gables flanked by a
smaller attic dormer on each side, modern tile roof, 2 modern
yellow brick stalks and 3-light and single-light sash windows.
At the back on the East is a small brick porch, a stone slate
roof and 3-light casement windows, 1 being C18, the rest modern.
In the North gable end has been fixed a medieval stone head of a
king, possibly a corbel.
