Block of student rooms. 1958-60. Michael Powers of
Architects' Co-Partnership. Portland stone ashlar cladding;
pitched blue slate roofs. 2 storeys plus basement. Plan
comprising interlocking hexagons. Saw-tooth elevations to
east and west, with blind northerly walls and windows orinted
southwards. Large windows with obscured panels beneath.
Pointed roofs with crowning spikes to projecting staircase
roofs.
