C16/early C17 timber framed cottage. Part of facade of painted brick
and flint, part roughcast and plastered. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys,
2 windows, early C19 casements. Ground floor windows have cambered head
linings, those of 1st floor are slightly recessed. Door in 1 storey,
western extension. Jettying of upper storey visible on return.

No 1, The cottage and the Barn adjoining form a group together with the
garden wall of 102 Bell Street.
