Early C18 facade but side gable rendered and parts of building probably
earlier. Flint with red brick dressings and eaves cornice. Steeply pitched
old tile roof and central chimney. Brick string course at 1st floor.
2 storeys, 4 bays. 1st floor 2 large sashes with moulded architraves
and glazing bars and 1 small C19 casement with moulded frame. Ground
floor, C19 casements with segmental arches and cambered head linings.
6 panelled door.

No 1, The cottage and the Barn adjoining form a group together with the
garden wall of 102 Bell Street.
