Southern part, C17 and later. Gable end to street, stucco facade, probably
to timber framed house, old tiled roof. 3 storeys, 2 windows, sashes
with moulded frames on 1st floor, 1 casement on 2nd floor. Ground floor
has modern shop front.
Northern part, late C18/early C19. Red brick with coped parapet. Hipped,
old tiled, roof. Stucco band below parapet and at 1st floor sill height.
3 storeys and basement, 2 windows each, sashes with painted reveals and
glazing bars. At south side round arched door with stucco arch, radial
fanlight and 6 panelled door, of which top 2 panels are now glazed.

Nos 45, 45A, and 47 and Nos 53 to 81 (odd) form a group with Nos 44 to
52 (even) and Nos 60 to 64 (even) opposite and with No 2 New Street.
