C18 and later facade. Stucco with wide, corbelled eaves cornice and tiled
roof. 2 storeys and large, later, twin gabled dormer. 1st floor windows
with engraved lintels with triple keystones, sashes with flush frames
and glazing bars. Good Cl9 shop front with cornice, end stops and architrave
with egg and dart moulding. Cast iron frame and enriched spandrels to
double shop windows. Recessed central door, under panelled roof. Panelled
side door with rectangular fanlight.
Nos 2 to 6 (even) form part of a most important group at the main crossroads
in Henley with No 1, Duke Street, No 1 Market Place and Nos 1 and 3 Hart
