Early and later C18 house. Silver grey brick walls with red quoins and
window dressings. Old tiled roof concealed by parapet. 3 storeys. Southern,
or main, building has a symmetrical front of 3 windows with side door.
Later C18 extension of 2 windows to north. String course at 1st floor
level, plastered to earlier part of building, Arched entrance door with
architrave surround, engaged Ionic columns, supporting architrave, bolection
frieze, moulded bracketed cornice and pediment all of wood. Late C18
fanlight, At north side, arched 6 panelled door. Contemporary, wrought
iron area railings.

Nos 70 to 102 (even) with the building at the rear of Nos 70 and 72 form
part of a group with Nos 93 and 95 opposite and with Nos 1 to 11 (odd)
and l5 to 25 (odd) Denmark House, Elm House, Ruperts Elm, Ruperts Guard,
White House, the Obelisk and No 30, Northfield End and with Tarry's Cottage,
Bell Cottage and the Flat, Rupert's Lane.
