C16, altered. Whitened roughcast over timber frame on flint base. Timber
framing exposed in south facing gable. Brick infill, gable plastered.
Wide flat eaves with old tiled roof. 2 storeys, 8 square louvres under
eaves, 5 at ground floor level. Reproduction leaded casement in gable
end. Picturesque.

The surface of the lane forms part of a group with Nos 1 to 7 (consec)
Chantry House and Chantry Cottage, No 20 Thameside, Nos 8 to 20 (consec),
the Brewery Buildings No 86A New Street and St Mary's Parish Church, Hart
Street.
