Early and later C19 stucco facade, eaves cornice and steeply pitched,
old tiled roof. 2 storeys and dormers, 5 windows in all. Those of 1st
floor, recessed sashes with glazing bars except northern window which
is a canted oriel on stuccoed plinth. Ground floor has 3 latered early
C20 shop fronts.

The Dukes Head Public House forms a group with Nos 43 to 47 (odd) 47A
and 49 and with No 30 (The Queens Head Public House) opposite and with
Nos 2 and 4 Reading Road and Nos 1 to 7 (odd) Greys Road.
