Early C19. Rendered with eaves cornice. Hipped slate roof (small slates)
with centre and end chimneys. 2 storeys with 3 angular, full height bays.
1st floor has 5 windows in all. Windows, mostly sashes with glazing bars.
Off centre, 6 panelled altered door and doorcase with engaged fluted
Doric columns and entablature with flat hood.

The listed walls and gate piers to No 17A, The New House, No 17 and those
to Nos 2 to 8 (even) Henley Park opposite form a group with No 17 (Grenville
Lodge), Nos 23 to 27 (odd) and Nos 2 to 8 (even) opposite.
