Early C18. Colour washed brick with moulded brick string at 1st floor
level and projecting aprons to 1st floor windows. Coved plaster cornice,
double span, old tiled roof. Symmetrical facade. 2 storeys, 5 windows,
all sashes with glazing bars and moulded flush architraves. Central door
with wooden arched surround and moulded pediment. Said to have been tanners
house for tannery at No 47 adjoining (q.v.).

Nos 5 to 35 (odd), and 45 to 65 (odd) Old Timbers and Friday Cottage and
No 73 form a group in association with Nos 4 and 6, No 10, Nos 14, 14A
and 16, Nos 54 and 56, The Anchor Hotel and Baltic Cottage opposite with
Baltic House Thameside.
