Late C17 but early C19 stuccoed facade with tarred plinth. Steeply pitched,
old tiled, roof. 2 storeys, 3 windows, those of 1st floor have modern
glazing. Ground floor has sash, central doorway with bracketed hood and
6 panelled door (top 2 panels now glazed), and, to west, small, early
C19 shop window with bracketed hood above. Glazing bars remain. All
windows with plain architraves and bracketed sills. Some timber framing
visible inside. Large corner brick fireplace and stack.

Nos 5 to 35 (odd), and 45 to 65 (odd) Old Timbers and Friday Cottage and
No 73 form a group in association with Nos 4 and 6, No 10, Nos 14, 14A
and 16, Nos 54 and 56, The Anchor Hotel and Baltic Cottage opposite with
Baltic House Thameside.
