Part of some block as No 2. Duke Street (q.v.). Early C19. Stucco facade
with slate roof. 3 storeys. Elevation to Market Place has 1 sash window
with late C19 glazing. Ground floor has earlier C20 shop front. Rounded
corner. Elevation to Duke Street 4 sash windows with late C19 glazing,
similar window to corner. Important position at central street junction
in Henley.

No 1 forms part of a most important group at the_main cross roads in Henley,
with Nos 2 to 6 (even) Bell Street and with No 1 Duke Street and Nos 1
and 3 Hart Street.
