1. NORTHFIELD END

SU 7683 8/340
Late C18/early C19 facade to possibly earlier building. Painted brick
with brick eaves cornice and old tiled roof hipped at the northern end.
2 storeys and cellar, 2 windows, those of 1st floor 3 light sashes with
flush frames and glazing bars. 2 light windows with cambered head linings
and glazing bars missing on ground floor. Central door with moulded,
bracketed, hood. Former public house.
Nos 1 to 11 (odd) and 15 to 25 (odd) with Denmark House, Elm House, Ruperts
Elm, Ruperts Guard, White House, the Obelisk and No 30, form a group with
Nos 93 and 95 and Nos 70 to 102 (even) with the building at the rear of
No 70 Bell Street and with Tarrys Cottage, Bell Cottage and the flat on
