C18 facades, originally 2 houses. Additional modern extension in same
style to north not listed. Stucco facade, old tiled roof, southern half
of 2 storeys, 2 windows and central door lower than northern half of 2
storeys, basement and 3 windows. Sashes and casements, half with glazing
bars. 1 small modern bay on north end of 1st floor. Doors with decorative
low relief carved heads above.

No 1 forms part of a group with Nos 25 to 29 (odd) Thameside and No 88
New Street and the surface of the courtyard behind No 88. It also forms
part of a second group with all the listed buildings on Wharfe Lane.
