Cottage. C16/17. Timber-framed with brick infill on low stone plinth; brick
gable-stack on stone base; thatched roof. 2 unequal bays with C20 extension
to left. One-storey plus attics; roof-pitch reduced below purlin to
accommodate windows; combined doorway and casement with 2-light casement to
narrow bay on right; 2-light casements over. Rear framing and roof unaltered;
right-hand wall is brick with timber-framing in gable. Interior winder stair
beside fireplaces spine beam supported on jowled post in chimney breast.
