House. Early C17 and later. Limestone rubble and timber-framing with brick
infill, thatched roof with brick ridge stacks on a stone base. 2-unit plan.
2 storeys. Lower unit, left of stacks, has a renewed casement, and there is a
single-light stair window and a rear bread-oven projection in line with the
stacks. Th entrance is in a C20 stone and tiled porch on the left gable wall.
The right gable is timber-framed with brick infill including one panel of
herring-bone and some banding with flared bricks. Small C20 weather-boarded
extension to right. Interior: Upper end has a moulded stone Tudor-arched
fireplace similar to those in the Manor House, and there is said to be another
on the first floor.
