Gate Lodge. Early C19. Plastered light timber frame; thatched hipped roof
with brick ridge-stack. Gothick cottage ornee of 2-unit plan at right-angles
to road. One-storey symmetrical front with plank door flanked by single-light
diamond-leaded windows, all openings with pointed arched heads. Interior not
inspected. One of an identical pair (q.v) flanking the west entrance to the
Manor House (q.v.) grounds.
