13/79 Wall Street Cottage.

GV II

Two cottages, now house, C18/19, probably C17 shell. Rendered limestone
rubble; old plain-tile roof with brick ridge-stack. Single-unit outshut
plans. 2 storeys. Two 16-pane sashes under segmental arches with 12-pane
sashes over. C20 door to extreme right; corresponding entrance to left now
built-up. Front wall raised and roof-pitch altered c.1800. Steeper catslide
roof at rear over outshut. Built on a curved frontage continuous with the
adjoining C17 post office (q.v.). Included for group value.
