Barn and farmbuildings. Late C18. Limestone rubble with brick quoins; old
plain-tile roofs. 3-bay plan. Barn has central opposed full-height doors with
slits to outer bays. Half-hipped roof. Lower range, to left, includes cartshed
and returns to left of farmyard as an 8-bay open-fronted cattle shelter; 2 bays
now infilled with weatherboarding. Rear wall of shelter has brick dentil eaves
course. Interior: Barn has queen-post trusses; shelter has king-post trusses and
wooden manger. Included for group value.
