1/54 Manor Cottages Nos.1 and 2


Cottage row, now 2 houses. Early C18; parts possibly earlier. Limestone rubble
with timber lintels; thatched roof with brick gable stacks. Single range. One
storey plus attics. Front has 3 blocked doorways and 7 irregular 2-light
windows, including 2 with small-pane iron casements and one with leaded lights;
5 small half dormers, 3 with leaded lights. Interiors not inspected. Probably
originally three 2-unit cottages.
