1/57 Manor House house approx.
60m. to N


Small barn, now house. C16 or possibly earlier. Limestone rubble with squared
dressings and some weatherboarding; plain-tile roof. 3-bay plan. Opposed central
openings, flanked by shallow stepped buttresses, are now infilled with C20 work;
walls remain intact with slits to each bay, except for small casement inserted
to rear. C20 openings in weatherboarded gables. Interior: Roof structure is
cased and of uncertain date.
