S of Shotover Park

GV II

Stable court. Late C18/early C19. Limestone rubble with squared quoins;
Welsh-slate roof. Quadrangular plan. Single-storey; 2-storey rear range. Central
gate tower has an arched entrance below a 12-pane sash surmounted by a
triangular pediment; above is the stepped base to a square rubble dovecote which
bears a clock face and is topped by a square wooden cupola with an ogee roof.
Left range has 5 arched carriage entrances. Rear range is domestic
accommodation. Hipped roofs. Interiors not inspected.
