approx. 150m. to NW

GV II

Well house and walls. Cl6 and later. Limestone ashlar and rubble. Front of well
house has chamfered opening with Tudor arch cut into lintel. To left is a later
section of walling with a small segmental-arched opening. Both parts are built
into earth bank. Projecting from left is a short length of rubble walling,
further sections of which survive (q.v.). Interior: Square chamber over well has
ashlar barrel-vaulted roof. Associated with the former manor house.
