House. Late C16/early C17 and C18. Limestone rubble and timber framing with some
brick; thatched roofs with stone and brick stacks. 3-unit plan plus linked
range. One storey plus attics and 2 storeys. Timber-framed front, with rubble
plinth, has renewed leaded casements at ground floor and in 2 dormers. Lower
later unit, to left, has brick gable in Flemish bond and contains present
entrance. Right end has large projecting rubble chimney. Main roof has stone and
brick stack to left of centre. Timber-framed rear has further casements and
large buttresses. Linked to right rear corner is a short 2-storey rubble range,
probably C18, with a front facing right. Interiors not inspected.
