Watermill and house, now house. Probably C18, extended C20. Limestone rubble
with squared quoins and timber lintels; old plain-tile roof with brick ridge
stacks. 3-unit plan, extended. 2 storeys. Irregular 5-window front has doors, to
left of centre and to extreme right, plus a variety of windows including C18
small-pane and leaded casements. Roof is half-hipped to right arid forms a stall
gable over one first-floor window. Rubble and tiled C20 extension to left. Rear
has a gabled lateral stack and lower C20 extensions. Interior not-inspected but
contains water wheel in left end of range. Channel beneath mill has walls of
large squared blocks which return to form embankment walls across rear of house.
