Farmhouse, now house. Mid/late C17. Limestone rubble,partly rendered,and timber
lintels; concrete plain-tile roof and brick gable stacks. 2-unit plan with stair
tower. 2 storeys plus attics. 2-window front, to garden, has door to right of
centre with 2-light casements at ground and first floors, some reduced in width.
C19 brick gable outshut to right. Gable walls contain attic casements and other
blocked windows. Central gabled stair tower at rear contains present entrance.
Interior: Timber-framed cross partition with elaborately-moulded jowled posts;
timber framed partition to tower with paired chamfered door frames at all
floors; chamfered and stopped beams. Walls and tower show signs of having been
raised from 2 storeys, probably in early C18.
