Farmhouse, now house. Early C17. Colourwashed limestone rubble with timber
lintels; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. 4-unit through-passage plan. One
storey plus attics. 4-window front has plank door with, to right, two 3-light
casements and 2 old gabled dormers with 3-light casements and, to left, 3- and
4-light casements with 2 later dormers. Blind bay to extreme left formed part of
a demolished barn range, Stacks to left and right of centre. Right gable wall
has 2 small wood-mullioned windows with lattice lights. Rear has further
casements, 3 dormers and a leaded window with moulded wood mullions, Interior:
Chamfered and stopped beams and joists; open fireplace with chamfered and
stopped bressumer; stone-framed fireplace in large stack, backing onto through
passage, with flanking stair; bread oven; timber-framed partition; early plank
