GV II

Small house. Late C17/early C18. Limestone rubble with some brick dressings;
thatched roof with stone and brick gable stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys.
Irregular 2-window front has door to left of centre with C20 porch; 3-light
casement to left with brick quoins and 2-light to right, both with brick
segmental arches; first floor windows of 2 and 3 lights. Windows probably
enlarged mid C18. Massive stone chimneystack to left gable wall with tiled
projection towards front; later brick stack on half-hipped gable to right.
Weatherboarded outshuts to both gable ends. Interior: Long cambered bressumer to
fireplaces old stair with winders.
