Statue. Probably C18. Limestone. Figure of a winged cherub with a crouching lion
on a rectangular stone plinth. One of a pair flanking the steps leading to the
front terrace of Haseley Court (q.v.). Part of the mid-C20 landscaping designed
by Geoffrey Jellicoe for Mrs. Nancy Lancaster.
