GV II


Small house. Late C17/early C18. Coursed limestone rubble and dressed quoins;
concrete plain-tile roof with gable stack. 2-unit plan plus single-storey range.
One storey plus attics. 2-window front has central plank door between small
renewed sashes under brick segmental arches. Two 2-light C20 dormers. County
fire insurance plaque. One old 2-light casement at rear. Range to right has a
remnant of timber framing and a half-hipped roof. Interior: Inglenook fireplace
with chamfered and stopped bressumer and flanking winder stair.
