House. Early/mid C18. Limestone rubble; old plain-tile roof with brick ridge
stack. 3-unit lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys. 3-window front has door to left of
centre, under tiled canopy, between 2-light small-pane casements under stone
lintels, with small casement to extreme right. At first floor 3-light leaded C18
casements flank a 2-light small-pane casement. Stack to left of centre. Left
gable wall and part of rear wall are rendered and may be rebuilt. Interior:
Large central stack. Probably the predecessor of Wheatley Bridge Farmhouse
(q.v.).
