Cottages Late C17/early C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble with some brick
dressings; thatched roof with rubble ridge stack. One and two units, possibly
originally a 3-unit plan. One storey plus attics. To left of shared stack,
Lammas Cottage has a doorway between 3-light casements, all with brick segmental
arches, and two small 2-light dormers. Right of stack, adjoining cottage has an
old 3-light leaded casement under a timber lintel and a 2-light dormer above.
Plank door to extreme right with a small blind panel above. Both cottages have
plank shutters at ground floor and leaded lights to the dormers. Interior:
Lammas Cottage has chamfered and stopped beams and a large open fireplace.
Cottages form part of a picturesque row facing The Green.
