House. Late C17, extended C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble with timber
lintels; plain-tile roof and brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. 2-window front
range is probably C18 and has 4-pane sashes at first floor with brick quoins.
Former shop front at ground floor with entrance between 2 canted bay windows.
Central stack. Lower rear wing has a gabled dormer and a gable stack. Gabled
stair projection in angle between ranges. Interior: Large open fireplace with
chamfered and stopped bressumer in rear wing; late C17 dogleg stair with heavy
turned balusters; clasped-purlin roof with queen-post trusses over front range.
For many years the village shop.
