2/174 The Fox Inn


Public house. C17 and C19/20. Rendered stone and brick; old plain-tile roofs
with brick gable stacks. Early range of 2 units. One storey plus attics. Front
has central window (formerly door) between 3-light casements with two 2-light
dormers above and stack to right; 2-storey C20 range to left and further brick
range to rear. Interior: Open fireplace with bressumer; beam with elaborate
chamfer stops.
