Cottage. Early C17. Timber framing with daub and brick infill; plain-tile roof.
Single unit. One storey plus attic. Entrance in gable wall bside inserted brick
stack. Rubble plinth with daub infill, to front and side, and brick infill at
rear. Interior: Quarter-turn stair: clasped purlin roof. Roof continuous with
The Old Post Office to right (q.v.) which may have been an extension of Ward
Cottage. Forms part of an L-shaped group with The Old Post Office (q.v.) and
Coney Cottage (q.v.).
