Farmhouse. Early and late C18. Brick and coursed limestone rubble; plain tile
roof and brick gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 5-window front in
Flemish bond with flared headers has storey band and flat arches. Door and
windows all C20. Steps to entrance are flanked by cellar windows. Right gable
has 2 blocked casements. 2-bay rubble rear wing has 3-light casements with
timber lintels and an old plain-tile roof. Interior: Front range gutted by fire
in C20.(V.C.H.1 Oxfordshire, Vol.V, p.8).
