Shop and dwelling, now house. C17 and C18. Coursed squared limestone rubble; old
plain-tile roof with brick stacks. Double-depth through-passage plan. 2 storeys
plus attics. C18 front has central 6-panel door under stone flat arch between 2
large C19 shop windows with panelled architraves, that to right a tripartite
sash; two 16-pane sashes at first floor with keyblocks, probably early C19.
Straight joints remain from an earlier arrangement. Hipped roof with stack to
left and large stack to right at rear with 2 diagonal shafts. Gabled rear ranges
continue to right as long row of outbuildings or possibly former cottages.
Interior: Open fireplace; C18 stair with turned balusters and panelled sides;
winder stair to attics; clasped purlin roof in rear wing.
