- II
Parish Church. 1874. J. Gibson. Knapped flint with stone dressing and tile
roof. Nave, with north aisle; chancel; south porch. Gothic revival. Nave
has 4 lancet windows to south. Chancel has 2 paired lancets to south with
buttresses between windows. Decorated 3-light window to east wall. Decorated
2-light window to west wall. Bellcote at apex of west gable of nave. South
porch, timber framed with gabled tiled roof on flint and stone base. Interior:
Red brick with buff and black brick decoration. Wooden vault to chancel.
Fittings: 2-windows in north aisle have C15 flemish glass. Piscina and
Romanesque font from St. James' Church, Bill Bottom. Included as the repository
medieval glass and font.
