2/14 Root House approx 40 metres
west of Bix Hall.
GV II
Root house. Early C18. Brick with flint surrounds to windows and door;
wooden coved eaves, tiled hipped roof. One cell, Gothick style. Single-storey
one-bay front. Decorative panelled door with ogee arch in moulded wooden
surround to centre of west front. Left and right hand returns have single 2-
light diamond pane leaded casements with flattened-arch heads.
