Church. C12 nave, chancel and apse; C15 west tower and south porch.
Coursed flint with stone dressing; plain tile roof to chancel and apse (roof
of nave not visible). 2 bay nave, 2 bay chancel, and apse. Porch to left
of centre of nave; 2-centre archway; Perpendicular 2-light windows to each
return of porch. Romanesque doorway to nave; round arch supported on
columns with decorated capitals. Restored tympanum. Studded door.
Perpendicular 3-light window to left of porch and 3-light panel tracery window
to right. Perpendicular 2-light window to left of chancel; door to centre with
4-centred arch to top. Romanesque past window to apse: 2-light window to
left. Interior: Romanesque nave and chancel arches supported on columns with
richly carved capitals. C13 wall paintings to apse: a procession of apostles.
C15 brasses to chancel floor. C15 roof to nave with carved bosses where ribs
intersect. C16 font. Collection of funerary monuments in chancel. Sculpture
by Eric Kennington to blocked north door of nave. Window by Laurence Whistler.
