Country House. Early C18 with late C18 extensions and alterations. Rendered
base to centre. Red brick; stone eaves cornice; slate roof; brick ridge
stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storey and attic, 7-window, 5-bay range; central
3-bays project with shallow pediment to attic; central 6-panel door; moulded
bracketed stone surround; 12-pane sashes to ground and first floor; blind
circular panels between ground and 1st floor left and right of centre; 1 bay to
right with 12-pane sashes, with oval blind panel between 1 bay to left, central
12-pane sash to ground and first floor, flanked on both floors by 4-pane
sashes; oval window to pediment. Ridge stacks. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest. Subsidiary wing to left, probably late C18, red
brick, slate roof, 2-storey 4-window range.
