GV II

House, now public house. Mid C18, later extension to left. Flint rubble with
brick quoins and dressings; English bond brick to left. Half-hipped and gabled
old tile roof; brick ridge and C20 right end stacks. 2-extended to 3-unit plan.
One storey and attic; 3-window range. Canted bay with horned sashes, C20 gabled
porch and elliptical arch over C20 two-light casement. Left bay has brick arches
over C20 two-light casements and C20 plank door. 3 gabled half-dormers with late
C19/C20 two-light casements. Interior: chamfered beams. First floor not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
