House, now shop and dwelling. C16/C17 remodelled and refronted in mid/late Cl9.
Probably timber framed. Rendered colourwashed front; gabled old tile roof; brick
right end stack. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Mid/late
C19 cornice over C20 door and flanking shop windows: sash to right: plank doors
to carriageway in left gabled bay. Horned 3-pane first-floor sashes. C17 rear
wing of 2 storeys. One-bay range of square timber framing with colourwashed
brick infill and gabled old tile roof. Adjoins late C18 two-storey wing to right
of colourwashed chalk with brick dressings and gabled old tile roof. Interior
not inspected but likely to be of interest.
