GV II


Cottage. Probably early C17 with later alterations. Painted limestone rubble;
old plain-tile roof; brick internal stack to left, end stack to right. Single
storey and attic; 2-window range at right-angles to street. C20 stable door to
wing to rear left. Irregular fenestration of casements. Raking dormer to right
of centre. Chamfered spine beam with ogee end stops and open fireplace to ground
floor right. Fragmentary remains of C18 decorative wall paintings to attic left.
