7/71 The Old Mill House


House. Probably early C18 with late C18 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble
base; red brick; plain-tile roof; brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys
and attic; 5-window range. Central 2-panel door with decorative overlight and
stone Doric pilaster surround supporting cornice. 16-pane unhorned sashes to all
openings. Brick band between ground and first floor. Moulded wooden cornice to
eaves. 2 flat-roofed dormers to attic. Interior not inspected.
