House. c.1910. By Oswald Milne. Red brick; timber framing with brick infill to
crosswing roof gable; old plain-tile complex roof; various elaborate brick
stacks. Complex plan. Arts and Crafts style. 2 storey and attic; 8-window range.
Panelled door with 4-centred arched surround to angled 2-storey bay to left of
centre. 2-storey angled bay to right of centre. Projecting cross-wings to left
and right. Brick mullion and transom or cross windows to all openings.
Cross-gable to left and right. Plain brick parapet to eaves centre. Gabled
dormers to roof. Panelled former dining room to ground floor right. Plasterwork
by the Bromsgrove Guild to the hall ceiling. Sitting room, now lecture room, to
ground floor rear left, with oak plain panelling with carved dado rail. Attached
red brick forecourt walls.
