6/167 The Little Manor


Farmhouse. Probably late C17. Red brick with random grey brick headers; old
plain-tile hipped roof; brick end stack and ridge stack to right of centre.
Three-unit lobby entry plan. 2 storey, 3-window range. 6-panel door with flat
hood to right of centre. 4-pane sash to left. Tripartite sashes to left of
centre and right. Three 3-light wood casements to first floor. Interior:
Chamfered spine beam to ground floor. Ovolo spine beam to ground floor right.
Blocked open fireplaces to ground floor right and centre. C18 corner cupboard to
ground floor right with open triangular dentil pediment to top, round-topped
panelled door, shaped shelves to interior and half-dome painted with sea shell
and lion mask in black and gold.
