House, now 2 houses. Probably early C17 with C19 extension to right and C20
rebuilding to left. Large timber framing with rendered infill to centre; false
timber framing with rendered infill to left; C19 red brick to right; thatch
roof; brick end stack to left, ridge stacks to right of centre. Probably
originally hall house plan. 2-storey, 6-window range. Plank doors to left and
right of centre. Irregular fenestration of mostly 2-light casements. Interior:
winder stair to No. 1. Open fireplace with domed bread-oven to ground floor left
of No.2. Some lath and plaster infill to rear. Queen-post roof with wind-braces
to centre.
